Workers’ compensation is the obligated payment received while at your job. Workers’ compensation is not equal in all states. However, the injured person is always on the receiving end and they receive money to cover their lost wages, medical expenses, and rehabilitation if applies. Since all states require businesses to carry this policy, they can face severe penalties if they don’t. There are a couple of more requirements in these cases: workers must file a claim within a certain number of days since the accident, and employers are required to report the injuries to the OSHA.
