We here at GJ Insurance are very passionate about helping our community in any way we can. In our past community causes, we’ve supported many charities helping neglected animals and charities helping those in our community with disabilities. For this community cause cycle, though, we’ve decided to support a charity that helps both animals and those with disabilities.

Medical Mutts is a fantastic organization that provides service dogs to people with disabilities. The charity was founded in 2009 and has since helped hundreds of people with mental and physical health issues. Medical Mutts trains specialized diabetes alert, seizure, and psychiatric service dogs to assist their owners. The charity also provides training for the owners so that they can properly care for their service dogs. All the service dogs at Medical Mutts are rescues, meaning supporting this organization can save two lives instead of just one.
