TITLE: Client Support Representative (CSR)

REPORTS TO: Managing Partners: Jensen Nowakoski & Grant Jenkins

JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for an energetic client-oriented support representative. A client support representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any pressing needs that our client accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help clients. They’re patient, detail oriented, and responsive. Client support representatives can put themselves in our clients’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. The essential functions of the position include aiding clients with service and making updates to existing accounts, along with specific quoting and marketing responsibilities. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to inquiries and maintain high client satisfaction.

WHAT DO OUR CSRs DO?

  • Learning and understanding company insurance products

  • Answering calls and responding to client questions and needs

  • Accessing client accounts and policy schedules

  • Providing clients with detailed information about policies and products

  • Forwarding clients to sales agents when a policy needs to be initiated or upgraded

  • Work as an efficient team with others to assemble, market and place coverage

  • Helps prepares proposals and quotes in coordination with producers

  • Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules, certificates, and proposals as needed

  • Maintains and updates files in agency CRM

  • Identify and assess clients’ needs to achieve satisfaction

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with client accounts through open and interactive communication

  • Keep records of client interactions, process client accounts and update CRM

  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

  • Offer suggestions and recommendations that can assist in our continued success

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE?

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience working as a client support representative preferred

  • Active Indiana property and casualty license preferred

  • Must be able to work within our operation hours of 9am-5pm EST with occasional

    flexibility

  • Must have a high level of integrity, dependability, and client focus

  • Be coachable, teachable, and flexible

  • Ability to take phone calls as well as utilize e-mail, webchat, voicemail, faxes, and other

    professional written inquiry functions

  • Must be proficient in all Windows based software

  • Basic understanding of insurance products and policy schedules

  • Friendly and professional demeanor

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Thorough, detail-oriented to manage multiple clients, tasks and requests

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

  • Client orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate

    processing of transactions and other responsibilities, including prioritizing workflow based on urgency, newbusiness vs. renewal, expiration date of policy, revenue size of account and potential to close

  • Maintains a cordial and professional relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, andother business contacts

JOB TYPE: Full-time

PAY: $15.00 – $21.00 per hour – based on qualifications & experience.
